35 Week Update...Excuse the PJ's!

I had my 34 week appointment last Wednesday and we had our growth ultrasound! I couldn't wait to find out just how BIG this little guy is! I know they aren't truly accurate and can be off by a lot, but I was still really looking forward to it. Amazingly, I am measuring literally to the day of my due date. Up until my 20 week appt. I was nearly a week ahead, but am now measuring at December 19th which is my exact due date! At 34 weeks, 3 days, he was 5.5 pounds and should be about 7.5-8 at 40 weeks. Again, all that can be off by a pound or two! The part that I liked best is that my belly is measuring exactly 34 weeks and his head/belly/femur are measuring exactly 34 weeks also. I truly think people say my belly is huge because I am so low and ALL belly. Don't get me wrong, I have gained in other areas, but my belly has definitely gotten most.

As for how I feel, the fun is definitely over. I am EXHAUSTED. I wake up tired, go to bed tired and walk around all day tired. I sleep all weekend and am still tired. I feel heavy, and have minimal pain in my lower areas......almost like my cervix is opening, but I know it's not! I actually had my first "Hot Flash" while doing a lesson....I wasn't sure if I was going to puke or pass out. I have 5 more weeks and just hope I get used to feeling like this. I truly wish I had more days to take from work, I think working until 4 days before my due date wasn't the smartest. I really wanted to use my days on the other end and not before. I have yet to grasp that I will be home, not working for EIGHT months!!!!!!!!!! Crazy!

The babies room is really coming along now if only we had a name!!!!
