January Snow

Being that I did not have my camera for the huge blizzard, I decided to go for a walk today, our first "snow day" home from work. Cali did her usual....run in circles, eat some snow, pretend her feet are broken when they get too cold, go in the ocean a bit and TRULY regret it, eat beach crap, and follow Ryan. Asbury Park amazes us more and more every day. Ryan commented today how we live in a city of extremes. The summer, Asbury is a vacation retreat, packed with tourists and summer homeowners, the streets are crowded with all different kinds of people from all walks of life. The beach looks like it is packed like a can of sardines......then comes the winter. Our condo building is for the most part empty....the beach....only a rare single person bundled up with their dog trotting nearby, and PLENTY of parking. The lake out front our condo is frozen and snow covered. We absolutely LOVE both extremes.
