I stand alone
This kid......he amazes me. I have to do a 7 month update once I do his pictures. Days have been filled with separation anxiety and a "don't put me down" phase.

Practice makes perfect
He takes the HUGEST steps it's so funny. This kid does not sit still. He is definitely over crawling and ready to move other ways!!

It was awesome. 8 moms from our Mom's group finally met the dads. One of the Mom's hosted at her gorgeous home in Interlaken. 8 couples an 8 babies under 11 months.

Crawling
The title says it all. He has been working on crawling for about two weeks. Yesterday he got it down along with Da Da La La Ba Ba and of course NO MaMa!!!
He is sooooo happy being mobile. I enjoy it as well. We actually decided to cover our new wood floor in his bedroom with carpet and he loves it. He prefers playing in his room once he is bored of chewing on the dining room chairs.

4th of July Beach Day
It was perfect. Perfect time of day, perfect weather, no crowds and a perfect little family.
We headed I the beach at about 10:45. It gave us time to go in the water with Lucas and let him play in the sand before a nap. The ocean waves acted like white noise and he napped almost an hour. Ryan and I played paddle board and relaxed.
It is so much easier now that Lucas can play independently without us worrying he will topple over. He is practically crawling though so now begins a new baby chasing era.

Wegmans!!!!
Lucas had his first trip to wegmans IN the shopping cart. Usually I go alone and wear him. We decided to try him in the cart and WOW. He loooooooooved it. He looked non stop all around soaking in all the action. Maybe he will love food shopping as much as his mama!!! 
Pool time!
When it's 100 degrees the beach just it's an option, especially with a baby that has a two day teething fever. When in doubt, move his bath tub to the deck and go swimming!!!!
