What a month. It has truly been a month of milestones and growth. Definitely not weight wise as he is still 19.5 pounds. Maybe he is longer but he definitely seems leaner.
Lucas perfected his speedy crawl and even will crawl with one leg "walking". He pulls himself to standing and holds on with one hand. He cruises the furniture slowly but I'm sure that will speed up sooner than later! He thinks he can walk so he let's go and attempts to step but falls.
He loves exploring the house an prefers anything that's not a toy. Pots, pans, wood spoons, shoelaces, flip flops, straps, and wires (we hide them beat we can but always having to remove him from an area). He loves the plug for the breast pump and he loves the baseboard heating metal (he flicks it so it vibrates). He laughs so hard and even makes this squeal noise that's hilarious. He sucks his top lip and also has this huge closed mouth smile. He always has to make sure someone is watching him while he does his tricks.
Most of his younger toys are gone so there is more room in our house! His swing is still here and he still naps in it. His naps are for the most part longer and it's easier to get him down. I figure daycare can get him to crib nap next month.
Sleep. Separate post for that. He was ferbered. He now sleeps in his crib 100% of the night. He sleeps a combined 10.5 hrs and wakes 1-2 times with minimal crying if any. I nurse 1-2 times. HUGE improvement. He used to sleep a combined 6-7 hrs and wake 4-6 times and nurse 4-6 times. He also barely slept in crib and spent most night in our bed. Best part is he still loves me :)
I am dreading daycare. I am scared I won't be able to keep up with pumping. I'm scared he will love his teacher more than me. Scared he will cry inconsolably when I leave. Scared that he will always be sick. I know he will love it. Ha!
I have to redo his pics bc I did them first thing in the morning and he looks super sleepy!
