I made my long term goal

Now I have an even longer term goal. I have breastfed Lucas exclusively for 6 months. Not a drop of formula. I made it through bleeding nipples, shallow latch, oversupply, forceful letdown, and PAIN. Next goal is 8 months. I hope to make it to a year. A year will mean no special formula for his dairy and soy allergies and straight to either hemp milk, almond milk or rice milk. As long as I can keep up with pumping once I return to work in September I don't see the year goal being unattainable. Of course, barring any unforeseen circumstances.
