5 Months

Lucas had his 5 month appointment on May 29. It went great!!! He sat up like a big boy on the exam table and didn't cry once. He has hit all of his milestones and even blew raspberries in the doctors face while she gave him his shots. She also told me his right tooth cut and the left is almost out, which means we might have pain relief soon....finally!!!!

Weight: 17 lbs 7 oz. 71%
Height: 26.25 inches 68%
Head: 43 inches 47%

I watched the nurse measure his head wrong just like last time so I'm guessing it's bigger.

He still is in size 2 diapers and size 3 at night. He is quite the character. He misses me now when I walk away. Cute, but not fun! We spent memorial day weekend on the boardwalk walking a lot. He had his first real baby date with Bromley on Sunday. Our friends came by with their 7 month old and we even went out to dinner and the babes were amazing!! Granted we ate outside on the ocean with a cool breeze which Lucas looooves. He is still in his crib most of the night and we are now having a few great 7+ hour stretches. He is asleep by 7:15 which we LOVE.

Bath has been "different" because he no longer will lay back so it's a challenge!! He also is starting to crack up at random things as opposed to us trying to make him laugh. Cali cracks him up. He is regularly rolling both ways although he is content with staying as opposed to rolling. He is perfecting the crunches and dying to sit up from laying so badly. Oh, he also figured out how to undo his diaper. FUN.
