San Juan 12-26-2009

So the start to our trip began on December 26th. We were scheduled to fly to San Juan FIRST CLASS on a Boeing 767 via American. To our LUCK, they wound up changing the aircraft last minute..so we were on a Boeing 777, which meant our first class seats were PODS!!!! I have no words for how amazing it was. As you can see in photos, we had our own "area" which had an ottoman where someone else could sit with you, or when you turn turn your seat into one of the 3 ways it can turn, you can lay it ALL the way back and bring up the leg rest which meets the ottomon to make a completely flat BED. We had real blankets and pillows, our own ouch screen TV, and so much more. It was a treat I'm sure we will NEVER see again. The food was delicious, and the service impecible. This wound up being a AA Flagship Suite Service. We arrived in San Juan in the evening and made our way to the Hotel Mirimar. NOTHING fancy, but good for the one night to sleep before our cruise leaves on Sunday night. More to come!!!!
