Surprise! 6-20-2009

I threw Ryan a CASUAL family-only 30th birthday party. The party had MANY obstacles, ranging from Ryan's summer schedule beginning, and him no longer working Saturdays(would have got him out of house the entire day), then to my parents not being able to come due to Ian being diagnosed Sat morning with Type A influenza.....I could go on! Ryans family helped tremendously, from his dad and scott taking him to play tennis to get him out of the house, and the rest of his family including all nieces, decorating and putting together the entire apt while I scrambled to do some last minute cooking, preparing, etc. It all worked out in the end! It was exhausting, but worth it. The best part was having his entire family together at our apartment, although I missed my family A LOT!!!
